2.6 million food parcels provided by foodbanks in 2025

In 2025, more than 2.6 million emergency food parcels were distributed to people across the UK. From this figure, 912, 216 emergency food parcels were provided for children.

Compared with 2024, this figure of 2.6 million food parels is a 12% decrease in the total number of parcels provided, and represents a ray of hope and indication that our collective efforts can help get people back on their feet.

However, the 2025 figure shows there is still much work to be done.
