Culham Campus pilot scheme generates 103kg of donations

In 2025 we were approached by the team at Croft Associates Ltd who are based at Culham Campus, who wished to set up a pilot foodbank donation initiative on site. Croft have been long-time supporters of Abingdon Foodbank, primarily led by Abbie Johnson and her team, and she was keen to explore if support could be generated from across the whole campus. We were thrilled and immediately on board!

The pilot scheme was launched in the run up to Christmas – a great time for the Culham Campus community to get involved with a specific campaign. In the weeks leading up to Christmas the campus collected 103kg of donations. They organised the collection and delivery of donations to our stores at our North centre, and the programme ran very smoothly. For us, it was a great success!

We look forward to seeing the pilot scheme grow and establish itself in 2026, and thank everyone from the Culham Campus who got involved, and to Abbie and her team for leading the charge!
