720 people fed in December

In December 2024, your donations helped Abingdon Foodbank to distribute 257 food parcels to people facing hardship in Abingdon and the surrounding villages.

These parcels fed 720 people, of which 328 were children and 412 were adults.

December’s figures show an increase from previous months, which we expected to see given the financial pressures of the festive season.

Our Christmas campaign was a great success and we will be posting the figures of our Christmas parcels in a separate news item when reporting is complete.
