638 people fed in November

In November 2024, your donations helped Abingdon Foodbank to distribute 232 food parcels to people facing hardship in Abingdon and the surrounding villages.

These parcels fed 638 people, of which 274 were children and 364 were adults.

This month’s figures are very similar to October’s which is good to see a stabilisation and not an increase.

We have seen a steady flow of donations coming in from schools, churches, businesses and individuals, paticularly for Christmas items we can put towards our Christmas parcels campaign. We are also still regularly updating our most urgently needed items listed on the BanktheFood app.
