2,254 kg of donations for harvest 2024

The results are in and this year’s harvest took an impressive total of 2,254kg of donations to Abingdon Foodbank.

Thank you so much to each and every individual, all the schools, churches, youth groups, local WI, businesses and supermarkets for all your generous donations.

Our volunteers have been kept very busy weighing, sorting, boxing and storing all your brilliant donations to help see us through the winter months.

Our most popular items were tinned soup, baked beans, spaghetti hoops, chopped tomatoes, pasta, rice and cereal!

Thank you for supplying us with so many basic essentials to help provide food to local people in crisis and experiencing hardship.
