484 people fed in September

In September 2024, your donations helped Abingdon Foodbank to distribute 179 food parcels to people facing hardship in Abingdon and the surrounding villages.

These parcels fed 484 people, of which 206 were children.

These figures show a decrease in recent months, (we always hope this is a good thing, and means our clients are managing to budget for their needs), and throughout September, our Tuesday sessions were a little quieter in terms of how many clients were visiting us.

Sadly, with the warmer months now behind us, we do anticipate seeing an increase in visits to Abingdon Foodbank, and our volunteers are ready to support clients in need.
