Kid’s Summer Meals Campaign 2024

We have launched our Kid’s Summer Meals Campaign for 2024! ☀

This is Abingdon Foodbank’s next local campaign in the calendar which is looking ahead to school summer holidays and supporting families in need.

Our Kid’s Summer Meals Campaign aims to ease the financial burden for families who rely on free school meals. We have put together a list of useful long-life breakfast and lunch items that can be donated during Spring months. This allows us to prepare additional emergency parcels for when the school summer holidays start.

We are also asking for donations of sun cream so that children can enjoy the sunshine safely. Sun cream is an expensive luxury item for low income families struggling to get by, so all donations are greatly appreciated.

This campaign is great for individuals, teams and organisations to get involved with and we would love your support and help to raise awareness! ☀
